The surgery will be closed for GP/Staff Training on Wednesday 19 February 2020 from 12:30 pm.  In case of emergency please contact 111 (Urgent Care Centre).  We apologise for any inconvenience caused.

Our receptionists are here to help you get to the right service. Please don't be offended if they ask what the problem is when you call to make an appointment. The receptionist might suggest other professionals that could help you such as: Opticians, Pharmacist, Nurse, Family Services or Support Groups. Thank you for your co-operation with this.

Test Results

blood_takingBlood test and urine results usually take at least two to three working days to come back from the laboratory. The doctor requesting the test will review the results and give our receptionists instructions, for example, if a follow up appointment is needed.  Our reception team is authorised to communicate these results to you.

If you attend for hospital tests (Ultrasound, MRI, X Ray, and Echocardiogram) these tests can take up to 3 weeks for the results to be sent to the surgery.

Please note that we do have a strict policy regarding confidentiality and data protection. In this respect we will only give out results to the person they relate to unless that person has given prior permission for their release or if they are not capable of understanding them.
